Build It Right, From the Structure Out
Stockhome Construction exists to give Northern California homeowners one contractor they can trust with the whole envelope of their home — the roof over it, the walls around it, the windows in it, and the concrete under it.
Our mission is simple to say and demanding to live up to: do the structural work honestly, and finish it beautifully. Most exterior failures we're called for — leaks, rot, cracked slabs — started as shortcuts someone else took at the layer nobody sees. So we build from that layer out: decking before shingles, flashing before siding, compacted base before concrete, sound framing before anything.
What that means in practice
- Written, itemized estimates — free. You see the scope and the number before work begins, and added scope gets your approval before it happens. No surprises on the invoice.
- Hidden damage gets fixed, not covered. When tear-off reveals rot or structural trouble, we're a licensed general contractor — we repair it instead of working around it.
- Complete systems, not surface work. A roof is underlayment, flashing, and ventilation — not just shingles. Siding is water management — not just boards. We install the whole system.
- Built for this place. Coastal salt, fog-belt damp, valley heat, and wildfire country each ask something different of a home — we spec for the county you actually live in.
- Leave it clean. Job-site protection, debris haul-off, and a final inspection are part of every job, not extras.
